London’s best secondary schools

Pupils all over the UK have received their A-level results this morning. Grade inflation continues, with the pass rate rising for a 28th year in a row, to 97.8%! It tells you all you need to know about the minimum standards necessary to pass the A-Level. An interesting trend is the increase in maths and science A-levels, which continue to gain popularity over modern languages.

8.2% of all entries were awarded the A* grade, and 30% of A* grades are taken by candidates from private schools. Find up to date news on A-levels here.

I personally think that St. Ursula’s Convent School in Greenwich should be on this list. Really. Check it out on the internet and you’ll see.

Jenna, that school only publishes GCSE results as they only go up to 16! No A-levels.
