Abercorn School parent reviews

Thank you so much to mums of three Colleen and Vikki for submitting londonpreprep’s first parent review!! Colleen has three children at Abercorn School in St John’s Wood and has written the following in the comments section of the Abercorn School profile:

I have three children at Abercorn School who have been students there since 2008. We are Americans living abroad and chose to send our children to a British school for the experience. We have never been happier about a decision! Abercorn is a lovely school with caring teachers and a dedicated staff. Our kids love going to school and have absolutely thrived. Abercorn gives each child the attention needed to reach their maximum potential. Children all learn differently and are at varying levels. Abercorn recognises this and sets the work for children accordingly. We are very impressed with how our children have performed and know that they will continue to excel thanks to Abercorn.

Vikki wrote an equally positive review, and she has children in the Abercorn nursery as well as the school:

My husband and I also have three children at Abercorn ranging from Nursery through to Year Three. Our eldest is just starting her sixth year at Abercorn and we are huge fans of the school. It provides our children with a happy, nurturing environment for them to learn and grow. The academic standards are extremely high and the children achieve great results. The standard of teaching is very strong and the school itself has a wonderful community spirit. I would wholeheartedly recommend Abercorn to other parents looking for a co-ed school in central London.

It is great to hear how well their children at doing at Abercorn and really helpful for other parents visiting this site to get an inside view of the school. I hope these are the first of many comments to come, so if you do have children attending one of the schools featured here, please do leave a comment and let other parents in London hear about your experience!

My three daughters attended Abercorn. The eldest ones were there for almost 6 years. We returned to the US in 2002, they sailed through middle school and high school without any problems, thrived socially and academically, and got into great colleges (with scholarships.) I have always credited Abercorn for their amazing start in life. The foundation of basics, critical thinking, and rote learning in a caring and structured environment not only gave them this start, but also gave them lasting memories, friendships, and confidence.
