This September, Abercorn School in London celebrated its 25th anniversary. Founded in 1987, Abercorn School is proud of keeping its consistently nurturing and competitive approach to learning. High Mistress Andrea Greystoke said of reaching this important milestone: “It doesn’t seem possible that 25 years have passed since we first opened our doors, that is until I catch sight of present pupils whose parents were among our original cohort! It has been an enormous pleasure and privilege getting to know and helping to educate so many talented and wonderful youngsters over the years and I am delighted and proud whenever I hear reports of their subsequent progress.”
Sorrall Beadsworth, former Abercorn Student recalls her best memories at Abercorn, “It would be the fantastic teachers who were full of character and who all had a real passion for learning and imparting knowledge. I had an unbelievable amount of fun in History and Geography and I owe a great deal to my old English teacher.”
Old Abercornians, current staff and parents will be celebrating the school together at a gala event at Lord’s Cricket Ground this month. For more information on the school or any of the anniversary celebrations please contact the school on 0207 286 4785.
