St Paul’s Juniors have taken the decision to move towards 7+ and 11+ being the two main entry points, and to end the 8+ entry point from September 2027.
The final intake at Year 4 will be those working towards 8+ in 2026. Registration for this entry will close on Friday 26 September 2025, with the assessment taking place in January 2026.
Going forward, the school will be able to offer approximately 72 places at 7+ and 36 places at 11+ (vs 54 places at 7+ in the past).
This mirrors Westminster Under’s move to end the 8+ entry point from 2027 onwards, 2026 being the final year for 8+ entry to the School. Westminster Under will admit 66 pupils at 7+ (up from 22) and around 30 at 11+ from September 2026. This could rise further from September 2027.
