14 August 2025 was A-Level Results Day and many London schools have shared record results. The King’s Maths School in Lambeth tops the table again, with 70% of entries graded A*, closely followed by St Paul’s Girls’ School and the new Imperial Maths School. The highest performing grammar school based on results is superselective Queen Elizabeth’s School in Barnet, followed closely by Newham Collegiate Sixth Form which has seen a record jump in top grades this year.
Below are the top 100 schools in London ranked by A-Level performance based on results so far. Henriette Barnett seems to have seen a drop in % of A-A* this year, which might explain why they released the results so late. They are now included at #27 (vs #11 last year).

Henrietta Barnett school 34% A* and 72% A-A*
Hi, did Wetherby make it into the list please?
yes they did, currently at #84
I can’t find Ibstock on the list, according to the website: 52% of entries were graded at A*-A and 85% of entries were graded A*-B
Thanks, they will be added today along with a few other schools that published their results a bit later. At the time of first publication, Ibstock hadn’t yet published detailed results.
