The St Paul’s School Group is pleased to announce that Arnold House School, St John’s Wood, will become the newest member of the Group from November 2026. Arnold House joins founding members Durston House, Ealing and Shrewsbury House School Trust, Surbiton, in a family of leading, not-for-profit preparatory schools united by a shared commitment to educational excellence. The addition of Arnold House, one of north London’s leading prep schools, further strengthens the Group’s position at the forefront of boys’ education.
Arnold House will retain its own leadership, identity, name, ethos, culture and uniform. Its Head, Giles Tollit, will continue to lead the school, and the school will continue to prepare its boys for a broad range of senior schools in London and beyond.
As part of the Group, Arnold House boys will benefit from the St Paul’s Programme, a holistic enrichment offering spanning academic and life skills, leadership, wellbeing initiatives and Group-wide competitions. The St Paul’s School Stewarded Pathway will also provide a supported route to St Paul’s School for boys within the Group, including early identification and enrichment support, the potential for pre-Year 6 offers, direct access to St Paul’s academic staff and the possibility of continuation scholarships and bursaries.
Congratulations to both schools on this exciting announcement!
